Why I Write

I write because stories have always been my way of understanding the world. Because characters arrive fully formed, demanding to be heard. Because sometimes the only way to heal is to follow the thread of a mystery until it leads you back to yourself.

I write paranormal murder mysteries — stories where intuition matters, where the past refuses to stay buried, and where love and danger walk side by side.

The Trixie Belden books were my first doorway into mystery — but the real magic wasn’t in the clues. It lived in the friendships, the family bonds, and the way these young characters worked through problems together, even when feelings were bruised along the way. Trixie’s restless curiosity, Honey’s gentle steadiness, and the loyal circle of brothers and friends created a world that felt safe, bright, and full of heart. The stories I’ve written here are my way of stepping back into that world… only this time, with a touch of the paranormal woven in.
